A flat, 1.3-mile loop around a 40-acre mountain lake in the historic town of Evergreen, with boardwalks through wetlands, mountain views, paddleboat and kayak rentals in summer, and the largest Zamboni-maintained outdoor ice rink in North America (8.5 acres) in winter. Elk are frequently spotted on the adjacent golf course. In summer, the free Evergreen Lake Summer Concert Series brings live music to the lakeside on selected evenings. Check the EPRD website for the schedule. Tip: Parking at the Evergreen Lake House is limited and fills fast. Weekend and holiday shuttles are available from the Stagecoach Park lower parking lot.
