Sighting Description

I have to know if anyone else saw what I saw on the night of 11/11/22 at around 7:14PM. Me and my mom, who was also a witness to this were coming home from getting dinner & we saw a bright red and white light from behind the top of the tree line and electric pole. I said to my mom, “What the hell is that?! She at first thought it was a plane. But I reminded her that a plane cannot fly THAT low without crashing. Not only that but this thing was sitting in place, hovering. I’m pretty sure a plane cannot hover. I told her to quickly turn the street and get up on it. So she did all while trying to figure out what it was herself. I think she was in shock, and needed to register it first. I was frantic though. This thing was a disk shape with red and white lights coming from different places around it. It was huge, the size of a small plane maybe?? My mom believes it was bigger though. We were maybe half a mile from it, when it moved and COMPLETELY showed itself and continued to hover in place. I almost felt like whatever it was, it was trying to communicate to us that it knew we saw it because as soon as I said “what the hell is that?” It showed itself completely, it moved from behind the trees, hovering momentarily some more before it zipped off in the Springfield direction. But this thing was very low. I knew people would ask me if it could have been a drone, and no, no, no. It was too big to be a drone. It was dark, about to rain and only maybe in the lower 40’s that night. If you want to check the weather for Republic, Mo on the night of 11/11/22, go ahead. People will think it sounds insane… but we were too close to it to see or believe otherwise, and not only that but my mom saw EXACTLY what I saw too. It was moving maybe 40 miles per hour. There has to be someone else who saw this too and is looking for answers! It was too big in the neighborhood it was in to not be noticed. I live in Republic, Mo. It is a smaller town near Springfield.
