Things to Do: rent a pedalo or canoe at Zalew Nowohucki lake, cycle the flat Velo Huta "Small Loop," picnic at the lakeside playgrounds, tour the district's socialist-realist architecture, visit the historic Cistercian monastery and Ark of the Lord Church. Tip: Rent bikes and ride the 20km Velo Huta "Small Loop," which passes the lake, historic forts and family-friendly rest stops.
