On May 17, 2026 at 10:06 PM, a witness near Veneta, Oregon reported observing a glowing orange orb approximately 200 feet away near the Long Tom River. The object appeared to move horizontally and bob up and down while descending closer to the ground, maintaining a steady glow without flickering.
