Six Picasso ceramic platters alongside Polish modern ceramics from the post-1956 "Thaw" period. Polish artists rejected Socialist Realism's constraints, creating vessels with organic, asymmetrical forms and bold, contrasting colors. Abstract, stylized motifs on these "pikasiaki" pieces echoed Picasso's aesthetic language.
