Description
Auschwitz-Birkenau is a former concentration and extermination camp located in Poland, and it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During World War II, over 1 million people were killed there, making it one of the most significant historical sites in Poland related to the Holocaust. Visitors can explore the Auschwitz Museum and take guided tours, which includes the remains of the camps, as well as exhibits on the history of the Holocaust.
